Ingredients: Black Tea
To enjoy, steep 1 tsp tea in 8oz water at 210 degrees for 4 minutes.
$8.95 – $20.95
This Assam black tea is made from larger low elevation leaves which give it a slightly malty taste. It is rich and strong bodied making it delicious on its own. However, it is also a good choice for those who like to add milk and sugar to their tea.

I adore a good-strong cup of Assam and Black Betty delivered with her malty-sassy self with pride.
My absolute favorite!

I like my tea strong, and even after over steeping this (7 mins, I know, don’t hate me), I found it just okay. But still, I liked this one better than other black teas I’ve tried from 27 Teas. It will be a regular order, because I found that if I mix it 50-50 with “Early Morning Earl Gray” (which has more bergamot than suits my taste), the resulting blend is perfection.

To make a tea stronger, try adding more tea and not more steep time. Try that out and see if it brews a better cup for you.
