Butterfly Pea Flower Lemonade
6-7 Butterfly Pea Flowers
- Brew Butterfly Pea Flowers in 16oz of hot water (200’F) for 4-5 minutes.
- Take flowers out of water. Let the tea cool and then pour into ice cube trays
- Re-steep the flowers over and over again following instructions in step 1&2 until the blue color does not come through as bright as you would like.
- Freeze ice until solid.
**Note- when adding butterfly pea flower ice cubes to anything with acidity (lemon for example) the blue will turn magenta. In this photo I added butterfly pea flower ice cubes to lemonade and as they melted, the lemonade turned magenta.
