That being said, we also like to remember, every little bit counts, and progress is better than perfection! Loose leaf tea is one small way to make an impact on your body and planet. Did you know that most commercial tea bags contain plastics that can't be composted? These same bags also contain chemicals that break down in high temperatures. You can avoid both of these problems by using loose leaf tea and a reusable infuser option! Some of our favorite ways to brew tea, that are better for the environment: A stainless steel ball or basket infuser, a French Press, and a kitchen strainer (make tea in a mug, and pour over your strainer into a new mug when steeping is complete).
